MISSION
Commitment to serve the social, cultural, Psychological, and Economic needs of refugees and asylum seekers living in Britain.
OBJECTIVES
- To relieving conditions of poverty, distress, need and hardship.
- Promoting the advancement of education, training and employment.
- Improve the quality of life through the promotion of their leisure time activities.
VALUES
In pursuing our objectives, we would base our efforts on the following values:
- Be sensitive to the need of all, irrespective of their ethnical or religious affiliation.
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of out clients.
- Promote the cohesion of our community, the image of our Country and its cultural riches.
- Cultivate the interests of the community as a whole.
Every year the ECB holds an AGM where the members elect 10 officers of the management committee accountable to the general assembly. The ECB is bound by the Memorandum and Articles of Association as laid out in UK law.
